LinkedIn Filming

I was working as Sound Recordist with DOP Tim Gee on a 4 camera shoot for LinkedIn. Recording in a large warehouse in East London for LinkedIn was challenging as the brief was to match a previous branded content filming already done.

 No plate shots could be used on the wide shot which would effectively push the Boom Shotgun microphone to far away to match the other 3 close up shots.

To get around this problem I hired in a SuperCMIT Digital microphone to help as its gets better results from further away, with the help of the DOP and Gaffer I was able to hang it direct from the overhead lighting rig with an extendable boom arm and get it right on the edge of the wide shot.  

Timecode was jammed onto 2x Sony FS7s and guide tracks were placed onto 2x Sony A7s, I also used a Timecode Smart slate to help the edit, all 4 cameras were given a guide track to speed up post, and be able to check back rushes on the spot to ensure everybody was happy with shots/content before moving on.
